A total stranger on the subway platform whispers, “Take my baby.”

She places her child in your arms. She says your name.

Then she jumps…

The first lines in Samantha Bailey’s chilling debut novel of deceit and duplicity that will have you guessing until the very end.

“Woman on the Edge” is a thrilling story of two women whose lives, in one brief moment, are forever changed.

With every turn of the page, a new twist happens.  How did that women she’d never met know her name?  Why did the stranger beg Morgan to take her baby, to “keep her safe”?   Was she dealing with postpartum psychosis?

The story is told from alternating timelines and perspectives which definitely keep the reader racing forward to an extremely satisfying end.
