The Caledon Public Library is running a contest for the month of January at all seven branches. Patrons can nominate their favourite adult book from 2015 and enter a ballot into a draw. Did you enjoy “Girl on the train“? What about “Between the world and me“? Maybe “Purity” or “The Nightingale” or “Station Eleven”? Let us know by filling out a nomination ballot. The choices are endless and the number of fantastic books published in 2015 make it so hard to pick just one. Have a look at some other Best of 2015 lists and see if your favourite is on them:
At the end of January, we will compile our own “Patron Picks” best books list, based on your submissions, and post it on our website. Then you can see what your friends, neighbours and colleagues enjoyed reading last year and maybe discover your own new favourite.
The winner will be announced on February 4th when the Caledon Public Library will be hosting Gail Vaz-Oxlade herself at The Rotary Place! Be sure to register for this special event soon, as spots are filling up very fast and there is limited seating.
So hurry in to one of our seven branches and let us know what book(s) you enjoyed the most. Or maybe ask one of our knowledgeable staff for their recommendations!
